We are looking for an INSIGHT MANAGER to fulfill a position in Budapest Head Office
Main Responsibilities:
Shopper & Category Insights
• Provide insights to define long-term category potential based on shopper and market data.
• Translate shopper and consumer understanding into brand- and channel-specific business recommendations.
• Deliver actionable insight support for Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Sales initiatives.
• Support innovation and portfolio planning through relevant shopper and category insights.
Business Planning & Analysis
• Cooperate with Brand Marketing teams in business planning by developing trade-specific analyses.
• Monitor market trends and generate insight reports by category, channel, and shopper segment.
• Develop and maintain insight platforms and tools for the annual business planning cycle.
• Lead and execute standard and ad-hoc reporting processes, including management-level presentations.
Research Management
• Manage external market research agency partnerships and contracts.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute shopper- and channel-specific research projects.
• Conduct complex, ad-hoc market analyses to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
Training & Internal Collaboration
• Provide training and ongoing support to colleagues on the usage and interpretation of insights materials.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing across departments to ensure insight-based thinking is embedded in daily operations.
Education:
• University degree (preferably in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field)
Years of Experience:
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Insights, or related fields
Language Skills:
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
Technical and Professional Skills:
• Strong working knowledge of Nielsen (highly recommended)
• Experience with data platforms such as dunnhumby, DAS, RetailZoom, or other shopper insight tools is considered an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI is an asset
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal collaboration abilities
• Creative, curious, and proactive mindset
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
